Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS)

Task employees have a range of certificates, awarded under the Construction Skills Certification Scheme, covering various specialty skills. These skills include scaffolding, specialised vehicle operation and specialised construction systems.

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme is a national scheme run by Solas (formerly FÁS) for training, assessment, certification and registration of workers in the construction industry. It is covered under Safety, Health & Welfare at Work legislation.

All of Task’s employees have successfully completed the Safe Pass course and work to a high standard of health and safety awareness.
SafePass is a national card awarded to construction-industry employees and tradesmen by Solas (formerly FÁS). The aim of the programme is to ensure all workers in construction have adequate knowledge of health and safety issues and best practices, and to enable them to work without risk to themselves or others.

You can find more information about the CSCS and SafePass on the Solas website.
